- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Washing windows and mirrors
- Changing bed linens and making beds
Laundry Duties
- Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens
- Organizing and putting away clean laundry
Restocking Supplies
- Replenishing toiletries, towels, and other consumables
- Monitoring and reporting low stock of cleaning products or household items
Organizing and Tidying
- Decluttering rooms and organizing items
- Maintaining neat and orderly storage areas
Trash and Waste Management
- Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish and recycling appropriately
Light Cooking or Meal Preparation (in some roles)
- Preparing simple meals or snacks as requested
Reporting Maintenance Issues
- Notifying management or homeowners of any damages, repairs, or safety hazards
Adhering to Health and Safety Standards
- Using cleaning chemicals safely and following proper hygiene procedures
Security Awareness
- Ensuring doors and windows are locked when necessary
- Respecting confidentiality and privacy in private homes or guest spaces
Special Cleaning Tasks

Deep cleaning on a scheduled basis (e.g. spring cleaning, after events)
Cleaning carpets, upholstery, or draperies (sometimes using special equipment)

What we’re looking for:

Good availability - must be able to commit to 40 hours per week across 5 days (more available if you’re keen!)
A can-do attitude - able to turn around 14 rooms in 7 hours
An eye for detail and a great team spirit
Previous housekeeping/room attendant experience (5-star background a big plus!)
